For over 30 years, The Community School of Cleburne County, in Heber Springs, has been committed to transforming the lives of developmentally delayed and disabled individuals. The Community School, the only Center of its kind in Cleburne County, provides specialized services for over 100 developmentally delayed infants, children, and adults – all at no cost to the individual or their families. Without the Community School, these children and adults would either not receive the services they need or would need to travel far from their homes to receive services – which, for some, would mean institutionalization. The Community School not only serves individuals in Cleburne County, but - because of the quality of the staff and the services they provide – individuals and families from Stone, Faulkner, Independence and White counties also choose the Community School for the care of their children and loved ones.
The Community School plays a vital role in helping to build a brighter future for children and adults with developmental disabilities. If you would like more information about the Community School and its programs, please call 501-362-0943.
The Community School is a private non-profit organization licensed by the Department of Human Services Division of Developmental Disabilities Services and is also certified by Arkansas DHS/Division of Child Care as a Better Beginnings 1 Star Center Provider.
